Mediation Appointment set by Your Lawyers

If you plan to come to mediation with your attorneys, they'll probably make the appointment and discuss your case ahead of time with the mediator. Usually the lawyers send the mediator a written analysis of the issues, and the mediator may then call them to discuss the case in more detail. Each side is encouraged to be open and frank about the case. The more the mediator knows, the better prepared he is to help settle your case.
